Oversight of the firm’s application development reporting to the Director of Information Technology, including managing four direct reports and multiple out-sourced vendors (off-shore). Supported a Microsoft-centric infrastructure. Accountable to act as project manager for application development. Accountable to act as DBA/Data Architect for firm. Spearheaded BI conversion from Crystal Reports to SQL Reporting Services. Credited with upgrading Oracle databases to 9i. Credited with upgrading SQL databases to SQL 2005. Spearheaded multiple projects to solve internal business problems with a viable, efficient technological solution. Migrated thousands of locally run Crystal Reports to centralized SSRS. Daily maintenance of SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 8i, and 9i. Experienced with replication, stored procedures, triggers, functions, tuning, ETL and DTS. Responsible for RDBMS backup, recovery and disaster recovery. Responsible for ad-hoc reporting based upon SSRS and Crystal Reports. Designed and maintained firm Internet, Intranet and proprietary web-based applications utilizing SQL Server as database back-end for web portal (SQL/VB). Credited with implementing SDLC methodology (agile development) for internal solutions development.
